The college has been recognised by University Grant Commission, it is counted among the top rated college in Maharashtra with an excellent track record. It is run by NRB trust which was founded in 1990 , Shri Namdeo Rama Bhagat is the chairman of the Trust which was founded in 1990. The Trust offer education to Marathi medium students from pre primary to 10th, English medium from pre primary to higher secondary and senior college students . The surrounding area of college is clean and green surrounded by Balaji hills, Parsik hill and it is very close by to jewels of Navi mumbai ,it has good infrastructure for movement and easy intercity connectivity. the entire campus is wrapped around with serene natural beauty with thane creek nearby flooded with mangroves, green and rich vegetation . The atmosphere is quite pleasant and inspire every student to feel fresh and energetic throughout the day. The student feel at home due to the friendly yet disciplinary atmosphere.
